    History:
    Julius Gutman & Co. (not to be confused with Joel Gutman & Co.) was founded in 1877 at Lexington and Park. It was a popular-price department store, known for its notions counter.
    It merged with Brager-Eisenberg's in 1959, becoming known as Brager-Gutman's, and occupied the same Gutman building (recently renovated) at Lexington and Park.
    Harry Weinberg bought the building in 1964, and the store in 1970. At some point the site became a branch of Epstein's.
