    Description

What gift could be more perfect for any Star Trek nerd than their own set of wooden Klingon replicas featuring the Bat'leth, Mek'Leth and Dak'Tang? The iconic Star Trek ritual weapon Bat’leth translates to “Sword of Honor” in Klingon and measures approx. 31″ in length and approx. 11 1/4" at its widest. The one-handed Mek'leth is a traditional Klingon bladed weapon, often the preferred use for bladed weapons in combat, and measures approx. 23". The Dak-Tang is ceremonial knife as featured in Deep Space Nine is approx. 12" x 2" and is used in hand-to-hand combat! This set is hand crafted and hand painted to be the perfect as a functional cosplay or as wall mounted decoration.
These unique props are handmade and homemade by a small family business in South Carolina, USA.  We make all of our product from a soft ¼” thick pine or birch wood; whatever we can purchase at the best price. We then layer the levels which creates a more solid yet lightweight replica (*although we do not suggest ‘LARPing’ as this may cause the product to chip). The layered levels also provide us the opportunity to paint the different colors that is needed for each replica. We spend time prepping the wood for painting and priming the edges since this is the hardest part in getting the paint to adhere. We use glue and micro nails to bring all of the parts together. Some of our products take more time than others to prep and our labor is dependent upon the layers of wood needed, the detail on the painted pieces and the hand painting that is often required.  We always attempt to price our products fairly.
I hope you will consider leaving us a review once you’ve purchased. If you have a photo of you dressed with the product and will allow us to use your photo in our listing then we would love to consider it.  It helps to show someone actually holding our product in their full cosplay attire.
