Trade Card of E.J. Lehmann's "The Fair" Store, Chicago, 1880s

Description

The Fair were department stores, located on State Street, Adams Street and Dearborn Street, in Chicago. Printed in the inset illustration of the scales of justice in the company trademark, "16 ounces to the pound." Below that is printed "36 Inches to the Yard." Both are promises to fair trade. Not sure what the form on the reverse was for (Complexion?). 3" X 4 7/8"

Buyer pays shipping. We ship through the Postal Service and recommend insurance on your purchase, as we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged goods.  If payment

not received within two weeks of the completion of the auction, we reserve the right to relist or sell the item to the underbidder.
