    Description

    This listing is for a vintage advertising plate from Foppe's in Rock Valley, Iowa. It was a well known general store in Northwest Iowa which operated from 1882 to 1955. The building still stands on Main Street today. This plate was in commemoration of the store's 50th anniversary in 1932. It was made by C. P. Co.  & has a date of 1 1 31 on the backside below a crown marking. Plate has no chips or cracks. Wording has faded some, but is still readable. It is square with rounded corners & measures approx. 9" x 9". Buyer to pay .50 shipping. thanks for visiting my store.
