Description
For auction is a pretty unique find! This item is a large popcorn tin from the J.L. Hudson Company, based out of Detroit, Michigan. This tin stands about 14" tall and is just over 12" wide. Has a great bright red body with white printing, and a nice white top. The lid and body are in great condition, really only one teeny little 1/4" ding in the one side, just above the first "s" in "Hudson's". Could use a light cleaning. The real issue with this item is some rust-through along the bottom rim edge - not terrible, and does not go all the way around, but a couple spots you can see light through. Would make a fine storage container for larger or dry items that wouldn't seep through - and would make a great big and bright Michigan department store or retail advertising display piece. NOTE - shipping might be a dollar or two more, but that's because of box size and not weight (USPS balloon pricing).
