Description
Vintage LANECO FOOD STORE Plastic Advertising Bag EphemeraLaneco Food Stores became popular during the 1960's through the 1990's. The founder of Laneco Food Store helped pave the way for many of the big chain grocery stores you visit today.
Laneco was one of the first grocery stores to offer merchandise other than food for sale in their stores. The stores were a huge success, and the news of this new "type" of grocery, or convenience store, quickly spread.
Many people aren't aware that Laneco Food Stores helped to inspire the creation of one of the largest stores open today - Walmart.
The original founder of Laneco retired and sold the company during the early 1980's. And sadly, in 2001, all of the remaining Laneco Food Stores were permanently closed.

Please Note
Most of the pre-owned items that I sell are acquired through various sources, and they do not originally come from my own home. Therefore, I am unable to guarentee that they come from pet/smoke free homes.
I try my best to accurately describe each item, each item's condition, and if possible, any known history of each item's previous use or ownership (as was described to me when I first aquired that item.)
I clean, or dust, most items before taking the photo's for each listing. However, in order to avoid damaging valuable collectibles, there will be some items that I do not clean. This will be noted under the Item Condition heading.
On some occassions I use recycled materials for packaging and shipping purposes. Sometimes these are the materials I that item was packaged in when I first received it. Other times you may receive your item in a box of an unrelated product, in order to provide an extra layer of protection during shipping.
